Restorative Yoga
Also thought of by many as "active relaxation".
Restorative Yoga is specifically designed for when you feel fatigued, weak or stressed out from daily life; restorative poses, however, are also useful to practice when
you are sick, injured or recovering from childbirth.
The props used while practicing the various restorative yoga poses are designed to provide support and be conducive to total relaxation. Each of the restorative yoga
poses moves the spine in all directions, putting into practice the ancient yoga idea that a healthy spine promotes well being. Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing
the body in restful postures. Note that 'rest' is different than sleep. Rest provides the body an opportunity to renew and heal. Countless studies have proven the
physical and emotional benefits of this. All levels welcome.
Benefits
•        Deep relaxation and de-stressing
•        A contemplative practice
•        Relieves chronic illnesses such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis and offers ways to exercise in a safe manner
•        Great for those with limited range of motion
•        Develop an awareness of subtle energy or prana

Beginners Ongoing
Here you will be introduced to the basics of yoga.  This class is designed to teach you the foundations of the physical practice of yoga, in addition you will learn how
meditation and breathing is incorporated as part of your practice.  We will break down the postures, also referred to as asanas, and learn the right and wrong way to
sustain a pose. At the end of class we put a flow together using all the asansa we have learned.  This is the perfect class if you have never tried yoga before, or if you
want to have a more in depth look at correct postures and flow.   Remember to bring your smile!  All levels welcome.

Ashtanga Flow
Ashtanga Yoga is the system of Yoga taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India. This method of Yoga involves
synchronizing the breath with a structured series of postures.  Ashtanga yoga produces internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs.
Results are improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.   In our Ashtanga Flow class, we will practice a shortened version of the primary series.

Mediations and Mudras
Need to de-stress? Who doesn't?
Meditation is a mental discipline by which one attempts to get beyond the conditioned, "thinking" mind into a deeper state of relaxation or awareness. It often involves
turning attention to a single point of reference. Different meditative disciplines encompass a wide range of practices which may emphasize different goals -- from
achievement of a higher state of consciousness, to greater focus, creativity or self-awareness, or simply a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind.
We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate! But meditation actually gives you more time by making your mind calmer and more focused. A
simple ten or fifteen minute breathing meditation can help you to overcome your stress and find some inner peace and balance. We compliment this with yoga for
your hands called Mudras. An inwardly moving class. All levels welcome.

Prenatal Series
Discover your inner power!
Pre-natal yoga will help prepare you for a healthy pregnancy and positive childbirth experience.
Pregnancy is a time of great vitality when your body is filled with creative energy and life force. Pre-natal yoga is a combination of yoga poses, breathing techniques,
and relaxation that will support this remarkable time.  Yoga poses will enhance body awareness and gently develop both strength and endurance .  Breathing
techniques will bring focus that will support changes in your body and life. The wave of breath will also bring clarity and surrender during labor and delivery.
Relaxation will bring ease to the mind and body inviting you to feel more open-hearted and loving and to pass on this energy and nourishment to your baby.
