Our focus will be on standing postures, including some standing balancing postures and if time allows arm balances. Strong attention will be given to the importance of spinal alignment and how to open up your energetic potential by creating a relationship between the sacrum and the cervical vertebrae in the all of your postures. We will look at the body from two perspectives: anatomical and energetic, and discuss some of the common misalignments in standing postures. This workshop will help you create a more peaceful, calm, safe practice that nourishes your body rather than depletes it. Class is appropriate for all levels of experience.
